New World

“She wanted to be alone-to think things out to adjust herself, if it were possible, to the new world in which she seemed to have been transplanted with a suddenness and completeness that left her half bewildered to her own identity.” — L.M. Montgomery (Rilla of Ingleside)

This is now where I am, right in the midst of change.  The easiest part is knowing that the change is necessary, the hardest part is letting go.  Change is a funny thing, it points out your weaknesses and stretches you beyond yourself. Change hurts, no pain no gain right? It is necessary though. The Lord uses it to refine us, to shake us out of complacency, to open our eyes.
So today I embrace the change, knowing it will stretch me beyond who I have been and closer to who I am going to be. “Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 3:13-14
